SYNOPSIS: Janine Lambert is a beautiful and emotionally fragile woman who grew
up abused and neglected. She meets a sexy, Latin hunk, Bobby, and they have an
intense one night stand and he falls for her, but she's preoccupied with a
secret from her past that needs attention. So, she runs away from Bobby and
hires a private detective (Mr. Johnny) to find the sadistic predator who raped
her when she was ten years old.

Janine (to Mr. Johnny)
I'm going to make him remember something that I can't forget.

Mr. Johnny, a gallant southern black gentleman with golden brown skin, an easy
smile and a military background, takes a liking to his mysterious client and
accepts her case, which is to locate a certain Anthony Williams.

In the meantime, an eager Bobby manages to relocate Janine. He's still upset
that she disappeared, but is gentle with her because he knows that she's
troubled and destructive. He wants to take care of her and make her happy, but
she's never trusted anybody.

Janine
Every day of my life. I'm the baby who became the girl who became the woman
nobody wanted.

Bobby persuades Janine to give him a chance and they have an incredible weekend
together, but when Mr. Johnny calls with the needed intel, she must decide
between staying with Bobby or continuing with her plan. She chooses the latter.

As Janine approaches Mr. Johnny's office, she's distracted by a sign that offers
custom made branding irons. She enters the "Magical Tattoo Shop" where she finds
herself so transfixed by a six foot long python as it swallows a large squirming
rodent that she doesn't hear anyone enter the room.

Woman
The most dangerous predator is a beautiful woman.

Janine turns around and looks into the golden colored eyes of a beautiful Creole
woman.

Janine
I disagree. I think the most dangerous predator is a woman who isn't afraid.

Janine makes a most intriguing purchase.

As Mr. Johnny reads Janine the information from his report, he senses
suspicious behavior on her part which piques his curiosity, but her lonely
vulnerability touches his heart and makes him feel protective. But she declines
his offer of further help.

Turns out that Williams still lives near Janine's hometown, so she travels there
and stages a meeting with him: He's a tall, dark and handsome, tattoo- covered
thug whose sweet and charming behavior hides a violent and vengeful nature.

He doesn't recognize her.

Anthony introduces "Jeri" to Ron, a smooth and polished recently paroled pimp
who eyes her suspiciously...and to Porshah, a beautiful black Barbie doll with a
ghetto mouth who rubs Jeri the wrong way.

Porshah
Jeri, I've been looking at you trying to figure out WHAT YOU ARE!

Janine/Jeri
Oh, really?

Porshah
Your skin is white, but your hair's kinkier than mine.

Janine/Jeri
That's because your hair's, like, from Korea or something.

After a vicious fight that leaves Porshah bloody, bruised and crawling on her
hands and knees, Jeri impresses Anthony when she tells him about the years she
spent passing to be white.

Anthony
So, you were living undercover?

She sits on his lap and toys with him.

Janine/Jeri
That's right, baby. In fact, I'm undercover right now.

Her loaded statement energizes her and when Anthony begins to caress her body,
she closes her eyes, and for just a moment, loses herself in the passionate
embrace. Anthony has an undeniable attraction to Jeri that he wants to
consummate, but her plan is to give him just enough to keep him interested.

One evening Anthony shows up unannounced and tries to seduce her. Even though
the thought of this creep touching her skin disgusts her, she can't deny that
he's turning her on. But when she fights it and rejects him he gets furious and
responds violently by wrapping his hand around her throat and shoving her
against the dresser.

Anthony
(whispers)
You're not going to tease me and run away.

Janine/Jeri
(still playing with the truth)
What are you gonna do fuckin' rape me?? Well, I guess it won't be the first
time.

The next day a somewhat recoved Jeri is alone in Anthony's house and uncovers
something from her past that brings her to tears, but when Anthony returns she
pretends to be happy and relaxed. Ron walks in on the affectionate couple, and
when Anthony leaves the room, begins to vet her. Her glib responses agitate him,
so he gets in her face and stares into her eyes trying to unnerve her, but
instead, her provocative response makes him very angry.

Ron
I got my eye on you.

She moves her face closer to his and stares right back at him.

Janine/Jeri
Well, I hope you like what you see...

She whispers into his ear and continues.

Janine/Jeri
..because that's as close as you're getting.

After Anthony returns to the room, Ron informs him that a detective by the name
of Johnny Williams (aka Mr. Johnny) has been watching him, which causes Jeri to
totally lose her composure for a brief moment.

Later that night Anthony is on his best behavior until an innocent exchange
sparks a jealous rage.

Anthony
Who was that brotha you were flirting with at the store?

Janine/Jeri
I wasn't flirting. He thought I was someone else.

Anthony
Maybe you think I'm not man enough for you. I'm a jealous and possessive man and
I don't trust no bitch!

Anthony shoves Jeri and is about to attack her when someone intervenes,
culminating in a bloody brawl.

A traumatized Jeri awakens from a nightmare and calls Bobby.

Janine/Jeri
When I was little and I was sleeping, someone would...touch me... and I
pretended not to wake up.

He tells her that he wants to take care of her, but she hangs up on him and
instead gets relief from a razor pressed deeply into her skin.

Jeri is distraught and has almost given up on her plan until a contrite Anthony
finds her and begs for another chance, which gives her the power to manipulate
him into a vulnerable position.

Janine/Jeri
Will you be my sex slave tonight?

He gladly agrees and the trap is now set. After Anthony is properly bound
Janine reveals her true identity, and she will taste the revenge she's been
seeking by beating, burning and torturing the truth out of him. She demands to
hear him admit what he did. It will take a lot of time ..and pain.

After taking her revenge, she disappears.

Anthony recovers from the brutal attack, vowing retaliation. Finding her is near
impossible until a chance encounter with a mutual friend leads him to Janine's
home in the middle of the night.

Anthony
You got two choices. One, put on something sexy and seduce me. Make it so good I
forget all that shit you pulled; or two, you won't wanna fuck again for the rest
of your life.

A terrified Janine stares at the big knife pressed between her breasts, and with
no choice, she acquiesces and then gets lost in a seduction that evolves into
passionate lovemaking and a horrifying moment of truth. A violent fight ensues
which leaves a gravely injured Anthony and a suicidal Janine clinging to life.

COMMENTS: LOOKING FOR ANTHONY WILLIAMS is a very entertaining script. It's
extremely well paced, story is solid and the material is hot/sexy, engaging,
visceral and deep. But the thing that gets to you is how honest and real it all
seems. Janine is disarmingly damaged, vulnerable, and even innocent in her own
unique way as well as incredibly angry, hurt and determined. She gets to you!
It's like her whole life is splattered in front of your eyes and all you can do
is watch her do what she so obviously must do. This creates real caring for the
character and a rooting interest that she finds her way out of this precarious
situation and finally grabs some well deserved solace and healing. And it won't
be easy for her for many reasons because the past still haunts her so
dramatically and affects her acuity in this dangerous enterprise.

So you have a real grabber combined with a lovable, deserving and very appealing
protagonist, danger and redemption, gritty street sensibilities and also a
vehicle that appealingly conveys themes and situations that sadly abound vish a
vis the real world. LOOKING FOR ANTHONY WILLIAMS will make an engaging film and
this is a heck of a compelling and worthwhile screenplay. Has a special
something.
